Rootkithunter

Rootkithunter guards your system against infection by many rootkits. Installation is of course trivial

apt-get install rkhunter

After installation, you might need some whitelisting as described in http://machine-cycle.blogspot.com/2011/03/getting-rid-of-rkhunters-false-warning.html
